A little bit of Fergie, on letting go and final thesis

Still writing, writing, writing. Tomorrow my Professor will receive the second version of the text and the sixth of march the whole thing is supposed to be printed, and finally done. Don`t get me wrong, it`s been fun and a I learned a lot but I think it is like with everything else, sometimes you just have to finnish what you started. Reading the text also brings back a lot of memories from last year (an ethnographic study), which I got to spend with some wonderful young girls, whom without this whole study would not have been possible to do. They are a bunch of smart, beautiful, interesting, young women to be with their whole life ahead of them. This one goes out to all of them for sharing their thoughts, feelings and worlds with me. Like everything else, also one year of intense ethnographic fieldwork comes to an end and you have to look forward and leave the people you met behind (not in the heart or mind but on a practical level). Not a day goes by that I don`t think about last year and all of our experiences together, which involved a lot of laughter. I`ve grown, as a researcher and most of all as a human being. But life goes on and new challenges lies ahead for all of us.

I just love Fergie, she`s so cool. Not my kind of music at all but this song somehow gets to me, every time. Also, LOVE LOVE LOVE her outfit here (the one with the red T, jeans and hat). Enjoy your weekend and hold on to your dreams.

This is what I´ve been wearing under my jeans to be able to walk to the bus and grocery store. It`s been a cold week, and at the moment it`s something around -19 degrees here in Helsinki. YES, indeed. Found this amazing photographer by the name Noa Azoulay-Sclater, on the website called Feather Love, which I think is her artistic name or concept. Anyways, I am totally in LOVE with her pictures. If I could grasp a tiny bit of the feeling in these pictures into my own wedding, I would be happy. Also love the look, simple, classic, yet not boring. Of course I am not as thin or pretty as the brides here, but the feeling somehow resembles that inside my head, and heart. To feel each others heartbeats, until we grow old and grey, that is what it`s all about. Wish I could have her take our weddingphotographs (haha, dream on). Check her out over here!

Back to life and studies, after lots of resting and lots of eating. I always have a little trouble to get back on track after the Christmas holidays, it´s always been like that and probably always will. Visited my grandmother on the westcoast and the shape she was in just breaks my heart. Made me think about a book I´m reading, a book about Richey James Edwards (written by Rob Jovanovic), former guitarist and lyrics writer from Manic Street Preachers. He dissapeared in February 1995, and has not been found since. Nobody seems to know if he comitted suicide or managed to dissapear without a trace. Anyways, he was/is a very smart, intelligent, sensitive and unique person who keeps on fascinating me, sadly though, probably too kind for this world. And his lyrics are amazing. He wrote about stuff that I think a lot of people, at least from my generation can relate to. Leaving you with this gloomy tuesday post and song, since life, quite often, is very gloomy indeed. Engaged!

Yes, that was the small surprise I wrote about earlier. We decided to get engaged on Christmas eve and announced it on the same night. A couple of years ago, I had this fix idea that engagement is only something people do on the countryside, and then they break up after a year or two, haha. Well, it actually was a trend in the countryside, when I was young. But since we`re not in an economically secure position, and we very much want to get married sometime in the near future, this was a step in the right direction, and a small step closer to our dream. Already been searching for som cool sites about weddings (bridezilla comin at ya, HAH) and I warmly recommend these two: ROCK N ROLL BRIDE and THE BROKE ASS BRIDE . A lot of people have been telling me, that you can get married without money and I totally agree and YES I know that it is possible. But wheter it will be a small intimate wedding, a huge party or just a private ceremony between the two of us, I want to be able to spend some money on that day. Not because I have to, or beacuse it has to cost a lot, but simply because I want to. I have no pic of us or our rings, have been too lazy during the holidays. Hola! Sitting at home drinking coffee, just ejoying the silence. I actually can`t quite believe it`s Christmas Eve tomorrow. The older I get, the faster time flies. I wanted to thank all my followers and readers, you`re not so many but very true and lovely, and it makes me very very happy. Having this blog actually gives me so much in between all the stress with studies and research. This year I`m spending christmas here in Helsinki with my partner, so it`s just the two of us and the kitty. It feels very good, we known each other for 11 years and this is our first X-mas together, about time maybe? Going up north visiting my mum after New Year`s instead. I also have some happy and good news, a little surprise coming up but later about that. You know some women, who just has that something, in a kind of androgyne way? Well, I think our beloved Tove Jansson was one of those women, the creator of the moomin characters and stories. And a truly great artists. I think women artists, often has this wibe and look, that feels so pure, familiar, classic and timeless. I just love it. Around this time of year, Tove and her charachters feels so safe and warm, especially when it`s dark and rainy all the time. For you non finns that haven`t read the moomin books, I recommend it from my heart. Oh and yes, got my first version of my final thesis sent yesterday after sitting up all night. Da daa. Now, I can breathe for a while again. Besides, Tove used to smoke the pipe, how cool aint that?

So, I am up and going again. Yet not entirely well, a lot of caughing and sneezing. Tomorrow I will start my final thesis marathon and not do anything else. And, that is only the first version but that is already quite much. This is what I´ve been working for during the fall. After that I get feedback from other students and know how to move forward once again. There will be a week of not much sleep but very much coffee, good I have the night key to the university. Until I see you next time, I leave you with a very very good band, by some friends of mine. This video is actually filmed with my videocamera, it feels a bit funny since I know my videocamera has had such fun adventures and not me. I think many of you will like it. ARGHHH! I just wrote a post which I thought was quite good and then I managed to delete it somehow. Nothing works in my favour today. First of all it is Monday, as that wasn´t enough I was awake all night wiht pain in the ear, throat and head. I slept the whole day since I was totally beat after the night. I had to cancel all my classes for today and tomorrow. Then it turns out Picasa which I always have been using when blogging has changed in a weird way and of course I didn`t get it and I can`t upload pictures into blogger now. And I would not have time for this, I have had no life lately, just been writing, writing and writing since I have to post my first version of my final thesis the sixth of Decemeber and I am soo not there yet. No celebrating of weekends, seeing friends, none of that. Just writing and analyzing. What I`ve been doing? Hanging at lectures and planning my timetable for autumn and darn it looks quite hectic but so very interesting! And my calendar right now is very empty if compared to last year, I will post it here later. Like a small sneakpeak of my world. Got the idea that I could scan bits of my calendars over the 6 past years as a way to reflect upon my studies. The covers I always decorate somehow, this year it`s Pelle the tailless cat stickers ;). In a way I´m very tired of being the eternal old student, on the other hand I just love it. I have the opportunity to learn and develop myself, but I also spend many sleepless nights worrying about money trouble. And, now when the leaves are falling, and the wind is getting colder it is quite charming to put on my backpack, and mix in with all the new students and feel the same excitement, the smell of libraries, silent afternoons and take away coffee

Hey you! I hate those posts where people every time start their post with "Been too busy to blog" when it`s been silent for a while, I´ve done it myself and I´m apparently doing it right now. On the other hand I never thought about this blog as a blog where I post everyday, but that almost seems to be the standard. Lectures has kicked off this week and I still have some work left for the project analysis. Last weekend J:s mum was visiting us from Friday to Sunday. My goal is to be examined until spring/summer 2012, but we`ll see how it goes. Just started two courses in semotics, which seems very very interesting. I think it suits me. But I just had to post this trailer, for those of you who follow (thank you very much) and are not from Finland I strongly recommend to see this movie, or all of Aki Kaurismäkis movies. His dog`s, in this case the Laika dog is also starring in Le Havre. Haha, that´s so funny. A must see!

Just plain, lovely and random vacation

Got a flu last week and still have a cough (YES, I know I`m one of those people who always get sick when on vacation). Summerflu sucks big time. We went to Tallinn in Estonia with my boyfriend for one day, never been there before. Otherwise I´m trying to enjoy the last days of my holiday this week before doing my final part of my internship and in September my 6:th and hopefully last year of studies will kick off. Been organizing the flat a little and still have so many things to do that I did not get done on my vacation but that`s fine, the point was to rest and gather myself which I have done. Slept until 12.30 today ;) (I´m hopeless with early mornings). Also been drawing a little which feels great, the ideas come when I`m not too stressed out or when I am in deep and utterly pain emotionally, so it is true, the myth of the suffering artists. Blogging been feeling quite pointless due to the happenings in Norway, It made me feel I have nothing to say. Then I thought about it and realized that with all that going on it is eaven more important to hold on to the good things in life, which usually are present in those small moments, which will pass one by so easily. I think happiness are moments in life that comes and goes, sometimes it feels very far away but when it comes knockin take care of it. Peace, Love and sunshine!

Staying here, at my mum`s place. Been sleeping late, biking, swimming, drinking coffee, meeting friends and all that. I also have hung out with my dear grandmother and been eating so much good food. These last copule of days I´ve been feeling like myself again since the accident, the pain is almost gone. Doing my best to relax and trying to put aside work and studies. It`s so funny in this small town, nobody seems to be in a hurry and there is space aorund me which makes me feel I can breathe, on the other hand this town also has a lot of old ghosts in it, since I spent my childhood and teenage years here. I have plenty of pics but not my computer so I´ll upload them when back in Helsinki. The local radio is always on in the kitchen and there are moments when I´m laughing my heart out, both at the people who call in and the songs they are playing (Def Leppard, Toto, Anastacia, Whitney Houston and a bunch of finnish music etc.), so much memories. Now Elvis is on, can`t complain. But I will post one song that just came and gave me an urge to blog and that reminds me of summers from the past. I also been reading this book called Svinalängorna that`s written by Susanna Alakoski and it makes me cry every night. I warmly recommend the movie by Pernilla August to everyone but you won`t feel good afterwards. Somehow these two worlds describes the state I am in when back in town. Worried, but yet hopeful.

Bruises and Glory Days

This morning I woke up feeling very enthusiastic about writing on my final thesis before I go on vacation on Friday. All of you that know me well, also know that I love to ride my bicycle. It`s a habit I grew up with and it just makes me feel free, and it is actually the only exercise I practice, and that I like. Today I unfortunately got hit by a car on my way to work. I got so scared, I am bruised and it hurts all over but it does not seem to be anything serious. So I went to the doctor, and got the day off! I decided to by a helmet after what happened today, I am still quite shook up by the whole thing. Unfortunately I now got a fear for bicycling and need to take a break from it for a little while. On Friday we leave for the westcoast, we`re attending a wedding and just gonna enjoy our childhood landscapes......So I will be blogging less in the upcoming weeks. One more day of work and then I am free woman for 5 entire weeks, a bit bruised but happy as hell. Take care and enjoy the summer. Ride free (but be careful). Still miss those summers when I was a child, nobody had helmets and there was respect int the air! Oh those glory days!

since my beloved man (prince) surprised me and bought us a bed for my birthday, I turned 32 on Thursday. We (or he) did not buy the cheapest and definitely not the most expensive one but since we`ve been sleeping on some old skunky madrasses for the past 6 months, this is luxury for us dear friends. I can not wait for the 2-3 weeks until it arrives.........it was so hard to choose which one...so I´m beat as hell now, gonna grab me a cold beer and do absolutely nothing. Too tired.....

...to post anything that demands any brain effort at the moment. It`s been a few intense weeks since I´m collecting data to my final thesis. It also has been a wonderful time and I learn so much. The teenagers are amazing and sometimes I wonder how they put up with me, haha. For those who don`t know, I´m interviewing 13 girls about style, identity and clothing. The interviews are based on diaries the girls have filled in during a week with open questions, collages and other small tasks like selfportraits. The diaries are handmade and the girls have done such a beautiful and creative job. This method is called probes, which is used by reserachers when wanting to find out more about something that the resarcher otherwise don`t have access to (like in this case: their private world outside of school). To do field work and participant observation is one of the most difficult things I`ve ever done, but also the most fun, interesting, fulfilling and rewarding things I ever done. It´s only a couple of weeks left now and soon they will graduate and move on. Already, I feel a stone in my heart but I know they will do just fine, because they are brilliant.

I just love this song and it has nothing to do with what I just wrote about (I actually did not mean to write that), or maybe in that sense that the band consists of women only. Anyways, what I wanted to say was that I dig this groups music and style very much, and I just can`t grasp why finnish girl/women rock bands never ever can succeed in the same way, they always look like some pumped up barbies that die their hair black and wear 5 year old mascara. Also, anything with gold or warmer shades is totally and utterly forbidden, it must be cold, silver and black only...ok, the lips might be red. I think they try to be too tough too hard and it all just gets so wrong. Such a silly post this one but enjoy som beauty from Sweden, Cherios!

Jey, it´s vappu in Finland today! A crazy party when all the finns get totally wasted, buy balloons and eat donuts. We welcome spring this way but originally it`s been a celebration of the working class movement. When I was a kid we always went to the market and I could choose a balloon. That was such a huge thrill for me, and I guess it is for most kids (it was not so fun when the balloon slipped away an reached for the sky though). Yesterday I was watching my goddaughter Ronja and we watched Richard Scarry on dvd. Just love the fact that the worm had a car in shape of an apple hahaha, could not find a good pic though! Later I´m gonna celebrate vappu with my friends and drink some bubbly stuff. HYVÄÄ VAPPUA!

New home, new hair, new hoods

Found my camera, JEY! Here`s some small details of our new home, but it still is under construction. Decided to cut my hair shorter. I just love my hairdresser and most importantly, I trust her. Together we came to the conclusion that it`s time to get rid of the dark chestnut brown and make it a bit lighter in a tone of chocolate brown with some golden highlights. I`ll put up better pics when I have more energy. I`ve got an easter bunny in an easter egg today, which I thought was kind of funny. I usually avoid to buy stuff from big multinational companies like Nestlè and Coca Cola Company but I need my kinder eggs once a year, otherwise it does not feel like easter. The absolutely best thing with our new place is the view from our window. Every time I look out, it takes my breath away and I just inhale the silence. Big easter hearts to everyone

NEW HAIR?

I know my posts have not been the most creative lately, due to the moving. Can`t find my camera and the scanner is unplugged, haha. But now we`re able to actually walk in the apartment now so some progress is happening (read: can see the floor). I have not been to the hairdresser since November and now I booked a time for next week. I am a bit tired of my hair right now. I have some weird urge for going red, and I love redheads. But it would not fit with the rest of my clothing an choice of colors, but somehow it fascinates me. But it has to be orange red, almost carrot-like? Like Florence has? I`m not such a big fan of her music, but I love her style. It`s something about spring, every year it`s the same thing. I get some need for glitter, colors, and new stuff. Still, I look exactly how I done the whole winter. It does not help that money is tight. I will probably stick to the dark brown but I think I will chop it a bit shorter, it`s spring after all! At the moment my hair looks like a birds nest

I`ts been a while again. Now we have moved my boyfriends (I don`t know what to call him, because we`re not engaged or married so it feels silly to call him my man, but he most definitely is, and by the way boyfriend sounds cute) stuff into my place. A couple of weeks and we should be living in our new home. I can hardly wait. I am working (hhmhhh..."working") from home today, slept late and I`m not getting much done. Instead I`m dreaming of growing herbs, of our turquoise kitchen and of days to come when we wouldn`t have to hurry and worry all the time. Today is a good day for just being and dreaming of easier times which I hope lies ahead. Yesterday I met a very special friend I have not seen in a while. We ate pizza, drank a couple of beers, and as a desert we enjoyed coffee with Couintreau and orangejuice! It was lovely, I`ve been working 14 h days this week and yesterday I did not wake up to the alarmklock, which I interpreted as a sign of extreme tiredness. So I just took care of myself and found me a new spring jacket in parka style (not the jacket in the pic but similar). I just fell in love with it. I also dream of thousands and millions of flowerdresses, ballerinas and sneakers. At the moment it is snowing though.......but one can always dream

LOVE LOVE LOVE this video, reminding me of a few years back when my life was quite a mess and the whole of me was totally upside down. Funny listening to it today....from antoher perspective. At the moment I feel the lyrics describing the chaos in my head due to my final thesis and the research project, it indeed has been a rollercoaster but most certainly one filled with fun, cuoriosity, challenges and interest. I don`t think that stuff will ever become clear though, so I keep on exploring it, to see what`s in it for me ;)

1. Laughing at my cat, who keeps an old cardboardbox as her home. She just loves to chill there, it doesn`t look so pretty but what wouldn`t you do for your cat. 2. Been drinking a lot of coffee. 3. I also have been listening to interviews with teenagers due to the research project I participate in, it has been one of the most hectic years in my life so far but it has also been great fun. Love the teenagers. 4. Dreaming about a new home, because we found one. From April me and my boyfriend will move in together, and this time it will be for forever. 5. Hello everyone! For a long time I have been wanting an easy page for my artwork created through out the years. Since my time right now goes to studying theories and writing essays, which I like a lot as well, it simply means I don`t have so much time for drawing and painting. The function of a blog format is that is diary-like, the posts are in cronological order and that`s the reason why it`s no good when wanting to show older work for example. finding it a bit hard to blog. Usually blogging for me is a way to breathe, a way of escaping the harsh truth and some kind of stress-relief in my everyday life. The funeral was overwhelming, filled with sadness, warmth and beauty. It made me realize how grateful I am for having what I have in my life. It is getting better though, day by day. Just don`t have so much to say right now. But here is a great pic of him from the summer in 2009, it is taken in my mum`s backyard when he still was feeling well. In this picture he was in good shape, the last year he got much skinnier and also had a beard at times. It is something about old people, I love the way they look, the grey hair and all. It is nice to see you followers hanging in here, though it`s been a bit slow lately. Tonight we are going to the movies to see BIUTIFUL by Alejandro Gonzàlez Inàrritu , one of my favourite directors. I heard it is quite dark, should fit my mind perfectly then. Have a splendid weekend my dears!

Dear readers! I have not been very active here lately, since my dear and much beloved Grandfather passed away last Monday! He is leaving a huge empty place in my heart and he ment the world to me. Often surved as a father figure, since my original was not much of one. After I stopped crying my eyes out I have tried to take care of schoolwork and research stuff, I am only about 3,5 half weeks behind in my schedule due to me being ill. Been working 10 h days now! Not the best start for a new year but I am happy my grandfather don`t have to be in pain no longer. I just got one essay of 17 pages done, and now I am going to celebrate with Ice cream, a cigarette, and the best boyfriend in the world, not to forget the best cat in the world. I am also desperate for a new tattoo on my lower left arm, I am dreaming of several roses in the shades of pure, dark, wine and deep red. Lack of money is the only thing stopping me. I am sorry dear readers, since I have been staying inside I am probably turning a bit crazy but TODAY it finally seems as this flu from hell is getting tired of my body and moving on. I managed to visit some second hand shops today and got to breathe some fresh air! Just walking and seeing other people felt very good, I felt a bit weak now and then but I still DID IT!
And the fever has not gone up since I got home, JIPPIII. But anyways, I am totally hooked on photobooth in my mac computer....as you can see, hmh. I have been spending way too much time with myself....

Unshowered, feeling like shit, tired of drinking herb tea,...this was today before I showered, and decided to GO OUT!

Day 9 of this horrible flu, it seems to be getting better though. Yesterday evening I spent right here, on the sofa, with my boyfriend, since I was feeling feverish and hardly could make it to the grocery store. We watched some movies, ate some food and drank some Cuban Rom. It was so lovely of him staying in with me. Since I got the book Just Kids for christmas, written by Patti Smith, I have had her on my mind a lot lately. The book is very interesting and literally very beautifully written, can`t stop reading it. It is inspiring to read about her life. Sometimes it gets a bit too beatnik and artsy for my taste but I still appreciate her as an artist, as a musician, as a woman and as a person. When I was searching for pictures of her I noticed that many people have blogged about her, which I can understand. Patti Smith have influenced many people and has become a style icon today. She also seems to have appeared on many pro-ana sites and honestly I get so tired of those sites, they seem to be everywhere. I don`t wanna post these pics of her as some kind of tribute to being thin, just simply because she tried very hard to be nothing but herself. She did not fill the ideal frame of womanhood, and wore very androgyne clothes back in those days. Besides, Patti loved food, always when she got some extra money she went out eating, instead of alcohol or drugs she bought food. You gotta love a woman like that! WISHING YOU A MERRY YEAR 2011!

Since my mum is abroad this year, to be exact she should be in Bangkok right now. That means we`re celebrating over here in Helsinki with my brother, and the cat of course. This last year has been quite an overwhelming one for both my grandmother and grandfather, they sold the house and now live in separate serviceapartments. As a memory I wanted to send them some pics from last summer, which I ordered larger copies of and posted in envelopes I decorated. Thought the envelopes worked out quite nicely, eaven the lady at the post office commented the envelopes and said they were beautiful. Let`s hope they feel the same over on the wetcoast! Could not fit the whole side in my scanner though and they looked silly when cropped. Anyways, Wishing you the best and merriest of holidays if I don´t see you before x-mas. Cheers and lots of love!

Might actually be that this should be the first place and not the third, but all ten places are more or less euqal! Neil Gaiman is the writer and creator of the Sandman comic series (Vertigo, DC comics) but there have been many different illustrators in the specific albums so I won`t mention them separately here. I can`t remember which picture is made by who as I don`t own the albums myself, used to borow them from friends or from the library. I could spend days admiring the pictures. My goal is to own them all some day. Art in it`s very best form, I say. These albums helped me through a lot of shit in life, and the stories and the illustrations keep fascinating me over and over again. Second place, Pelle the friendly cat without a tail

Pelle Svanslös is written by the swedish author Gösta Knutsson. It is a story about a very friendly and goodhearted cat without a tail (svanslös means tail-less), that often gets bullied and played tricks on by the mean cat Måns and a couple of twincats named Bill and Bull. The story is so much fun and Pelle the cat reminds me of my own cat, they both are black and white. The original books with illustrations are from the 1950`s but I prefer the later ones, probabaly because I grew up with them. The first pic is from an animated movie from 1981. You can see that Pelle also caught his eye for a very sweet chic-cat called Maija gräddnos, which means Maija cream-muzzle. I think it is so heartbreakingly cute and I love the story, the characters and the pictures. The two pictures below were illustrated by Lisbeth Holmberg-Thor in 1971. Luckily, Maija gräddnos finds Pelle being a very good canidate and funny company to eat baltic herring with ;).

I´ve been thinking about this thing called art quite a lot lately. After drawing and painting more or less my whole life, studying art for five years, working as an artist for a couple of years and today having it mostly as a very very dear and important hobby. This made me reflect on how my taste, knowledge and experiences of art have changed and taken on new shapes inbetween days, nights and years. But after I acutally stopped defining me as an artist (since I am not), I can enjoy all the pictures I purely and honestly enjoy. That feels good.

I remember in artschool it was almost forbidden to paint fairytale creatures or other "silly" stuff that was not considered serious art. At one point I almost forbid myself liking the things I had always liked most, fairytales and imagination. Today, here and now, at the age of 31 I can enjoy all the silly things I want without asking permission. I don`t know why I always liked them and escaped to these places, but somehow they give me comfort in a world that is filled with so much pain and darkness. It might also be that when dressing the human emotions in the forms of other creatures, it somehow appeals to me, or it might just be as simple as the fact that the pictures are beautiful, yet often quite dark, sad and expressive. So I want to praise all the great and classy illustrators of our time, so I decided to show the top 10 illustrators here on my page.

I start with the swedish artist John Bauer (1882-1918). When I was little my mum used to read books called "bland tomtar och troll" to me and my brother. Already back then, I found John Bauers lovely pictures breathtaking. I also feel they go very well with the atmosphere in Finland right now, which can be describes as cold, rainy, gray and dark. A little imagination and magic will do us all good.

This video reminds me of the 90`s so much, and I think it is beautiful. For me, it represents all the dreams and believes I use to have as an teenager, when I felt ugly, wrong and very misplaced. I listened to punk and grunge, died my hair violet, pierced my nose, wore strange clothes and fell in love with the wrong boys and also, broke the heart of many sweet boys. But I can remember this video back then already, somehow speaking out to me. Maybe beacuse Chris Isaak was not a typical dude from the boybands, and his music was something I had never heard before. He found my heart, and has been stuck there ever since. Today I am going to hang out with my mum, who is in town and I am skipping the schoolwork for today, have to do some studying on the weekend though. I have some new pictures coming up but until then I give you the pleasure of enjoying other sweet things. Remember that you are beautiful.

Been extremly busy, have not had the time to update for a while. I saw the new Alice in Wonderland movie last spring and absolutely loved it, I know that many people did not like it, but I did. I don`t think new stuff always have to compete with older stuff, so in this movie I found the new interpretation of the characters very interesting, not to mention the new techniques used in making the movie. So here I give you some things cute and fury, that anyway helps me to cope with the challenges of the fall. My idea for my next tattoo is to take the bunny with the klock on my leg, with a text inside the klock. I think he is so handsome in his blue jacket but somehow sad, tragic and lovely at the same time. The bunny reflects a lot of fears we people have about life in general, maybe that is the reason I find this gentelman very appealing. Wishing you all a great and magical weekend.

WARNING: Contains mainly food. Wanted to put it up as a memory of the past summer which definitely have had it`s ups and downs. But to be honest, and I guess I sound pretty much like a typical finn when saying that I long for candle lit nights, woolen socks, blankets and a cup of tea or red wine at home in the sofa. Love the autumn, with it`s colour`s, the fresh air, the rainy nights and the darkness (Oh my, I sound so sinister). I guess autumn has all the elements I love, because it gives me plenty of reasons to hide away from the world wheen it feels a bit too hard to handle.
